Comments: Address given as; c/o Mrs Cook, 34, Melville Place, Liverpool. One of the men of No 2 (Machine-Gun) Company captured at Jarama. His brother William Pugh also fought in the M-G Company. Active in Spanish-aid work after his repatriation to the UK. Arrested at an anti Mosely meeting in Liverpool in October 1937. 1939 living in Mozart Street, Liverpool. He, and his wife, stood as CP candidates in the 1944 municipal elections in Liverpool.
