On the next day he requested to be sent back to the British battalion. Posted sick and sent to Tarancon hospital, 24.03.1937.The medical commission recommended his repatriation because of chronic bronchitis and heart weakness, 03.08.1937. Repatriation sanctioned by Albacete, 09.08.1937.
