Comments: BA 7yrs. Gave an address at 121, School Drive, Aberdeen. 7 years with British Army 1928-35. Fought with British Battalion, Canadian Mac-Paps and American George Washington Battalion. Sent from Madrigueras direct to Officer School but desired to go direct to the front. He was consequently transferred to 16th Batt without taking the course at the school.' Instructor and pol comm. at Tarazona. Believed missing, but invalided home under his own steam from Barcelona after being wounded at the Ebro 27/7/38. WW2 served with Gordon Highlanders then RAF Regiment. Married the widow of Archibalkd Dewar KIA Ebro.
