On sick leave in March 1938 until his return when he came Battalion Commissar once again. Killed trying to shoot at a Tank Commander at Calaceite. 'Politically sound. Militarily ambitious and is too prone to take over Military Commander's duties. Strong character but finds it difficult to work collectively with other comrades. Strong individualistic tendencies.
