International Brigade Memorial Trust

We are organising an international workcamp in the summer with the organisacion Young Volunteers VJF from 22 August to 2 September at the memorial cemetery Berlin-Friedrichsfelde, where many Brigaders and Spaniards in exile are buried.
In the attached INFORMATION SHEET WORKCAMP 2016.doc are the registration details. Young people especially are invited and only a limited number of places available.
On the weekend of 16/17 April a group of KFSR members took part in the commemoration at the former concentration camp in Buchenwald (pictured), where they heard an impressive speech by Enric Garriga of the organisation Amical Mauthausen. There is more information on our website www.kfsr.info
Amical Mauthausen have established an anti-fascist network Nunca Más (never again) and seek cooperation with schools, town halls etc.
On the weekend 1/2 October the KFSR will commemorate in Berlin the 80th anniversary of the foundation of the International Brigades, We are planning the opening of an information board for the monument to the International Brigades in Berlin-Friedrichshain and other events.
