Comments: Transport Officer of the original group from the SAU. Along with several others recalled home amidst accusations of wrong-doing. During WW2 he served in the XIVth Army in India and Burma. Major in the RAOC. He was awarded the MC in 1944 for gallantry and distinguished action in the village of Kangla Tongbi during the Battle of Imphal.
