Member of No. 1 Company, 14th IB and BB, 15th IB. Later ambulance driver in 5th Army Corps. Served in Córdoba, Madrid, Teruel, Aragón & Ebro. Applied several times to be sent home due to his young age and extended time of service in Spain. His request received the support of Alonzo Elliot. Order finally given in August 1938 that he should be repatriated due to his age. Assessment: 'Good. YCL.'
