Latest issue of IBMT magazine out to members

Issue 2-2024 of the IBMT digital magazine, ¡No Pasaran!, has emailed all paid-up members.

On the cover is the memorial to the members of the British Battalion who died at the Battle of Jarama in 1937. Behind it are supporters gathered for the annual Jarama commemorations in February.

The main feature of this issue is about the Loughborough conference by Richard Baxell, who looks back at the 1976 meeting on the 40th anniversary of the Spanish Civil War.

Other highlights include Nancy Phillips's article about the Tschapaiew Battalion, a lesser-known battalion that embodied the spirit of the Brigades, and Mike Arnott's stories about Brigader David Mackenzie from Spain and Scotland.
