Who is Douglas Jolly with in these photos?

David Lowe, who is working on a biography of Douglas Jolly – the New Zealand surgeon who served in the International Brigades, is asking for help in identifying any of the people pictured with Jolly in the photos below. Taking the photos from top to bottom, Jolly can be seen standing centre, left, and centre. Lowe says he has a 'gut feeling' that in the top photo one of the others (perhaps the man to Doug's right) is Franz Kriegl, the Czech volunteer who remained a lifelong friend.
