Transport workers against fascism in Spain and elsewhere

The International Transport Workers’ Federation has published a downloadable booklet telling the story of the role of transport trade unions in the fight against fascism early last century, in particular in the Spanish Civil War.

‘¡No Pasarán: The ITF and the fight against fascism’ has been written and compiled by Jim Jump, Secretary of the IBMT, and is available in Englsh, French, German and Spanish.

It was launched yesterday (5 December 2016) in Brussels at an ITF conference of rail unions from around the world. 

Based in London, the ITF brings together around 700 unions representing over 4.5 million transport workers from 150 countries.
