Jarama commemoration bookings close on 31 January

The annual Battle of Jarama commemoration weekend will be taking place on 21-22 February in and around Madrid.

On Friday 21 February there will be a visit to Tarancón, a town near Jarama where the Republican medical services had set up several hospitals and treated the injured from Jarama. Saturday 22 February is the day of the actual Jarama March. The event is organised by the IBMT’s Spanish sister-organisation, the Asociación de los Amigos de las Brigadas Internacionales (AABI).

Trustee Pauline Fraser is organising the IBMT contingent attending the commemoration. The deadline for booking a place in the contingent is 31 January 2020 so if you are interested in attending we recommend booking immediately.
