Invitation to Berlin

We invite you to participate in our annual international meeting which this year is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the foundation of the International Brigades, which takes place on 1-2 October in Berlin.

Saturday 1 October at 11am: general meeting of KFSR; at 4pm: commemorative ceremony at the monument to the International Brigades in Berlin Friedrichshain; at 6pm: dinner and concert with the song group Quijote with songs of the International Brigades in Café Sibylle.

Sunday 2 October at 11am: cultural programme and commemoration: 80 years since the International Brigades – 80 years international solidarity; after lunch: an excursion to places of monuments to the International Brigades.

This year, all events take place in the centre of Berlin. We, however, have reserved 10 rooms until early September at Hotel B1 (Am Niederfeld 7, 12621 Berlin; tel:+49 30 56574250; info@hotelb1.de). The key word is "KFSR - Spain" (double room - 41€, single room 31€ per night, 6€ for breakfast per person/day).
