Blue plaque on the fence in front of Surrey Cottage, 12 Glebe Street, Beeston NG9 1BZ, the birthplace in 1904 of International Brigade volunteer Nan Green (née Farrow). Unveiled on 9 February 2025 by Tamar Feast of Beeston & District Civic Society, Beeston Mayor Sue Paterson, Deputy Mayor Robert Bullock.
