7 May to 18 October EASTBOURNE – ‘Comrades in Art: Artists Against Fascism’ exhibition at the Towner Eastbourne, Devonshire Park, College Road, Eastbourne BN21 4JJ on the anti-fascist Artists International Association, which was founded in 1933 in response to the rise of European fascism and played a leading role in mobilising artists to support the cause of the Spanish Republic during the Spanish Civil War.
