Oxford-based artists Sonia Boué and Jonathan Moss have produced this art film, ‘Without You I Would Not Exist’, about exile and the Spanish Civil War. Running for over 14 minutes, the film sees Sonia Boué use objects to explore the experience of her Spanish Republican father who first arrived to Oxfordshire to work in a Basque children's colony.

The fully restored memorial to the International Brigade volunteers from Reading was unveiled at its new location in Forbury Gardens on 10 May.

To mark VE Day and the 70th anniversary of the defeat of Nazism, here's an extract from the current issue of the IBMT Newsletter (2-2015). Our photo shows Spanish Republican prisoners greeting Allied troops liberating the Mauthausen concentration camp in May 1945.
